Project: Interior Renovation of Fire Station #4
Client: City of Cape Girardeau Fire Department
Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Strickland Engineering was the MPE Engineering Consultant for this complete interior renovation of the existing neighborhood fire station. The renovation included the living and sleeping areas with the complete rework of the kitchen, restroom areas, and office/workroom. The MPE system design included the rework of the complete plumbing and electrical systems. The HVAC equipment was replaced and the system was modified for the renovated areas within the facility. The electrical renovation included new lighting throughout the facility and the plumbing renovation included a provision for a future sprinkler system.
Project: Building Addition for Fire Station #1
Client: City of Cape Girardeau Fire Department
Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Strickland Engineering was the MPE Engineering Consultant for a new 2-story storage addition to the existing truck bay. The MPE system design included the addition of new lighting and power circuits for the addition and modification of the existing mechanical and plumbing systems to include the new storage area.
Project: HVAC Modifications for the Cape Girardeau Police Station

Strickland Engineering was the prime consultant for the complete renovation and modification of the existing 2 story building’s HVAC systems. The facility included office areas, conference/training room, 911 call center, jail, holding/booking areas, garage, locker room, filing/storage areas, and evidence rooms. The existing multi-zone systems were replaced with custom multi-zone equipment and the existing ductwork systems were modified to reflect the current use of the building spaces. The system design also included the installation of a new computerized temperature control system and the coordination of the installation to keep the existing facility in operation during the project.
Project: Stoddard County 911 Services Office Facility
Client: Stoddard County 911 Services
Location: Dexter, Missouri
Strickland Engineering was the MPE Engineering Consultant for this new 3,300 sq. ft. administrative office building and training center for Stoddard County 911 Services in Dexter, Missouri. The new facility included offices, conference room, kitchen/breakroom, file room, computer room, and classroom. The existing emergency call center was located in an adjacent building to this new facility. The MPE system design for this project included split system HVAC units for each zone, domestic plumbing systems, building electrical systems, electrical rough-in for Owner’s computer/phone systems and rough-in for smart-board systems.
