Strickland Engineering is providing the civil site design as
a sub–consultant to HNTB Corporation for the proposed
$12 million project. Phase I of the project includes an access
road connecting the transfer facility and Show-Me Center parking
lots to the existing city street. Strickland Engineering was
responsible for design of the access road, driveways, storm
drainage, stormwater management, and utility connections to
the facility. The University continued its transit-way design
on this project by utilizing red pavers for the sidewalks and
ornamental lighting fixtures.
