Strickland Engineering was the MPE Engineering Consultant for this new 27,000 sq. ft. building addition to the Immanuel Lutheran Elementary School in Perryville, Missouri.

The building addition includes classrooms, office suite, library, science and computer labs, full kitchen and cafeteria. The building is attached to the school’s existing gymnasium and locker room facilities.

The MPE system design for this project includes individual HVAC fancoil units in each classroom and central fresh air system supplied through energy recovery units, rooftop HVAC units for the central areas, provisions to add air conditioning to the existing gymnasium, fire protection system for the new addition, electrical service for the addition and the existing gymnasium, site lighting, and a complete fire alarm system.
