Strickland Engineering provided the design, bid, and construction phase services to the City of Jackson for relocating of 34.5 kv, 12.47 kv, and 4.16 kv electric facilities required due to MoDOT widening Highways 34 and 25. The scope of the Highway 34 project includes installation of 48 poles, 69 anchors, 16,000 feet of 556 ACSR wire, 9,400 feet of 336 ACSR wire, 15,000 feet of 1/0 ACSR wire, one 34.5 kv group operated switch, and associated cross arms, insulators, guy wire, line hardware, and secondary and service facilities. The scope of the Highway 25 project includes the installation of 12 poles, 29 anchors, 11,300 feet of 336 ACSR wire, 4,600 feet of 1/0 ACSR wire, and associated cross arms, insulators, guy wire, line hardware, and secondary and service facilities.
